1. Steam it

As soon as your dress arrives by mail, remove it from its packaging and revive it with a clothing steamer. This is especially important if the dress fabric contains tulle. Fluff out the dress and remove any wrinkles with a standard clothing steamer.

2. Hang it

When not being worn, make sure to always hang the dress up. Use padded hangers and avoid using wire hangers or any other hanger that may snag the dress.

3. Dry Clean it

NEVER machine wash your formal dress unless the tag says you can. Dry cleaning is the preferred method for cleaning a formal dress after it has been worn. Look for a reputable, Eco-friendly dry cleaner to keep your little one safe from toxic chemicals. 

4. Store it

When it's time to put your formal dress away, use a plastic-free garment bag to store it. Plastic locks in humidity that can stain the dress. Store the dress in a dark & dry location, this way the color won't fade and the fabric won't get moisture stains.

If for any reason you are not pleased with your order, Kid's Dream will provide a prepaid return label (US orders) and accept return of unworn, unwashed, undamaged or defective merchandise with tags within 30 days of order date or within 15 days of the delivery date, whichever is longer. Get peace of mind while purchasing final sale items when you add Kover Return Assurance.

You’ll have the option to return eligible final sale items by adding Return Assurance at checkout. We’ll calculate the cost based on all eligible items in your cart. Some exclusions will apply.

All standard return policies apply to eligible item(s). The item(s) must be new, unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and in the original packaging with tags attached.

Returns must be initiated within 30 days of your delivery date or within 15 days of your order date whichever is longer.

To initiate a return, please email sales@kidsdreamus.com with your order number and the reason for the return.

Kid’s Dream will provide a prepaid return shipping label. We are unable to offer free shipping on eligible item(s) returned. We will deduct a standard $7 return shipping fee from your refund when processing the return.

Return Assurance is currently only offered on orders shipping to addresses in the United States. Please note, the cost of the Return Assurance is nonrefundable.
